CCE's EnSuite Delivers Support for Point Cloud Files (14387)
CCE, a provider of CAD/CAM data translation and viewer products, has announced that EnSuite Version 2 - its multi-CAD viewing, translation and productivity software - has been upgraded to support point cloud files. EnSuite Version 2 can be used to import point cloud files in .xyz and .csv files that are typically produced on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), laser scanner, or other inspection equipment.

Launched with 20 machine models, new models will be added each week. Current models include 3-, 4- and 5-axis mills as well as 2- axis lathes and multi-axis lathes. Manufacturers include Doosan, Haas, Hardinge, Mazak and Okuma, among others. CCE Upgrades EnSuite to Support CATIA V5 R18 Files (14248)
CCE, a provider of CAD/CAM data translation and viewer products, has announced that EnSuite Version 2 – its multi-CAD viewing, translation and productivity software – has been upgraded to provide support for CATIA V5 R18 files. The latest version of EnSuite can open R18 files and translate them to any of the other formats currently supported by EnSuite including CATIA V4, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Parasolid, IGES and STEP. The latest version of EnSuite can also write R10 through R14 files, which can be read by R18. “We are committed to providing support for the latest versions of all the leading CAD systems,” says Vinay Wagle, V.P.
